Summary
Pursepective is a women’s financial literacy platform designed to turn the "taboo" of money talk into a movement of empowerment. It’s an ecosystem—likely an app-based platform—that provides women with the tools, knowledge, and community to take control of their financial destinies without the dry, intimidating jargon of traditional banking.
Challenge
The "Pink-Washing" Trap: Most brands built for women’s upliftment fall into the trap of being too soft, too patronizing, or "too pink." This usually results in them being dismissed or failing to reach the modern, ambitious woman who actually needs the service.
The Boredom Barrier: Finance is notoriously dull. The challenge was to create an identity that felt like a lifestyle brand rather than a homework assignment, ensuring high engagement in a space where most people usually tune out.
The Trust Gap: Money is personal. Building a brand that feels both "cool" enough to follow on Instagram.
The BlackDomino Edge
We didn't just design a logo; we built a brand strategy that flips the script on female-focused finance. We realized that to reach the right target, we needed something that didn't exist in the market: Aspirational Power.
We ditched the cliché palettes for a "Scarlet Ledger" aesthetic—using Iron Garnet and Antique Silk to evoke a sense of heritage, luxury, and strength. We formulated a dual-typography system that balances the fluid, personal nature of wealth ("Purse") with the sharp, clinical reality of financial growth ("PECTIVE").
The result? A visual identity and social media collateral suite that positions Pursepective not as a charity project, but as a prestigious power-tool for the modern woman.
